Service Fund Receivable
Hello Luci,
I just left you a voice message ( I don't know if getting office messages since may be working at home). To assist you I need a better understanding as to what you are considering a "service fund receivable". To be honest I haven't heard that terminology used. There are 6 types of health care receivables ( per SSAP 84) which get reported on page 2 line 24 ( and exhibit 3). Health Care receivables can be: Pharmaceutical Rebates Receivable; Claim Overpayment Receivables;Loans and Advances to Providers Rec; Capitation Arrangement Rec; Risk Sharing Rec; and Other Rec typically from Government Plans ( Medicare and Medicaid). So is this what you are referring to? If not, are you referring to Risk Adjustment Rec ?( last of the three R's from SSAP 107). Risk Corridor and Reinsurance programs were temporary ( 2014-2016).Risk Adj Rec would be reported on page 2, line 15.3 If you are referring to the HIP Fee that is a payable on page 3 line 25 write in. I really haven't heard of the term Service Fund Rec? pls explain further the use of that account. Thank you. Hope this helps. Regards, Glenn S Sackett
