U&I Exhibit quarterly statement

Our company had MedAdvantage business for the 1st time in 2019. The Healthcare receivable balances were reported in columns 2&4 of U&I part 2B at yearend. Now in doing the U&I Exhibit for Q1 2020, our software pkg is only pulling the PY balances from columns 3&4 to populate column 6. This is not allowing the NAIC instruction xck that Line 13, cols 1-4, less col 6 should = page 4, ln 18 + ln 19, col.2 to work. It is off by the PY col 2 amount of line 10. How is this xck supposed to work?

Could you provide the rule number to which you are referring?

U&I Exhibit quarterly statement

The rule is XXQSN000220. Qtrly Stmt of Rev and Exp, col 2, line 18 plus line 19 should equal Qtrly U&I Exhibit, the sum of col 1 through 4 minus, col 6, line 13.

U&I Qtrly

Erica,
I just emailed you. Please give me a call and I will talk this crosscheck through with you. This is the total incurred benefits crosscheck to the U&U 2B. I will explain using the Annual Statement then transition you to the quarterlies.

I think best to discuss. Please see my email with my cell #. Thanks.

Glenn
