Should a return of capital between two affiliated companies be included within column 5 (Capital Contributions) within Schedule Y - Part 2? To me it would make sense to show this transaction as it would constitute the opposite of a contribution.

The instructions don't address the question but your logic makes sense to me; it's a negative capital contribution.
